One Day More

Today was a good day off.  Cynth and I used the time to get the "Cancer Journey" folder given to us by our oncology group together and up-to-date.  This also gave us an opportunity to review the therapy.  My irritating pain in the side is back after a few weeks of being absent.  It served to remind me after this weekend and all the festivities that Wednesday will be here soon.

We're still praying that I won't experience any side effects, but if I do that they will be minimal.  Regardless, we are ready.

Thank you, again, for all your prayers, love and concern.  We do feel God's faithful presence throughout each day.

  1. Greg and Cynthia,

As you face today, know that we, along with many, many others are upholding you before our Lord. (Even our 5-year-old grandson who is with us this week, is praying for "Mr. Davenport.") We join with you in praying that the chemo will be very effective in killing the cancer cells, but will give you no side effects. God's peace and presence be with you both in a very special way today.
